Effects of Essential Oil Inhalation on Daytime Salivary Cortisol and Systolic Blood Pressure
In a randomised controlled trial of 83 hypertensive patients, inhalation of a blend of Lavender, Ylang-Ylang, and Neroli was associated with significant reductions in systolic blood pressure and daytime cortisol levels.
The study suggests that aromatic compounds may help support autonomic nervous system regulation, potentially reducing cardiac workload and supporting vascular health.

If you're a regular visitor to you'll have noticed a few changes.
Owners, Liam and Katie are in the process of building a new therapy roomand updating the existing therapy room and reception area
The additional therapy space will allow more availability for your appointments, whether it's Sports massage, Aromatherapy or reflexology .
I'll be posting updates as things progress but you'll be able to see for yourself when you come for your appointment.

Recently, one of my clients asked me about which supplements are most helpful for women during perimenopause & menopause. Although I have heard/read about benefits of vitamin D (which I take ) and Magnesium, I couldn't give her a clear answer so I had had a bit of a read around the subject and put in in a blog on my website. I have heard from professionals such as about current research on the benefits of creatine but I should say that life style elements such as:
🔹sleep
🔹weight-bearing exercise
🔹good nutrition
🔹stress management
(not all of which I manage practice regularly 😬) are key.
I would appreciate your thoughts.
