If you're Dad was anything like mine growing up, chances are he spent a lot of time in the pub, playing golf or watching the football.

So I don't feel one bit selfish for taking an hour of out of my day for exercise.

That hour pays dividends.

It gives me energy to play with my sons.

It gives me confidence that I'm showing up right.

It clears my head so I can be present with my wife.

It manages my stress so I don't lose my sh*t when all the lights are left on upstairs...😂

When you're looking after yourself, you can show up as the best version of you for your family.

"Wait until you have kids, then you'll see"

I've been a Dad for 10 years now, I'm still waiting to see how supposedly difficult it is to exercise 🤷‍♂️

As a parent, you're day to day life is not going to "calm down" right?

You are going to have children and a job for the forseeable future.

Unless you only plan on getting in shape when you retire and the kids leave home? 😂

Work is always going to be stressful.

Family commitments are always going demand your time and attention.

That's never going to change and it's time to stop blaming them.

Instead, look at your habits.

Are you sinking 10 pints at the weekend because you need the down time?

Are you having 2 takeaways a week because you cba to cook?

Are you smashing the office biscuits and chocolates when you're bored?

See the pattern?

It's not stress.

Heading into week 6 📆

The name of the game is adherence.

This is exactly how I've helped my clients lose 20-40kg and get in incredible shape.

Different phases.

If someone has 40kg to lose that might take nearly a year...

But who wants to be dieting all year long?

It's far better to do multiple fat loss phases and maintenance phases to get to the end goal.

It's smoother.

Energy levels are higher.

Performance is up.

Hunger is lower.

A much better recipe for long term commitment which is where so many struggle.

It's really popular for coaches to say they have 100's, if not 1000's of clients.

Not me.

I cap my number of clients at around 30.

That's both in-person and online.

30 total people.

Why?

Quality.

That's 30 birthday's.

30 anniversaries.

30 wives and husband's names.

30 children's names.

30 jobs.

30 hobbies.

30 lifestyles.

30 injury histories.

30 preferences.

I want to remember it all.

I pride myself on delivering 1 on 1 coaching at the highest level.
