A little reminder for anyone booking events with small businesses 💛

If you can't make an event you've booked, please reach out to the host before raising a payment dispute.

When a dispute is opened, not only is the original payment reversed, but the business is often charged additional dispute fees too, even when no one has manually reviewed the case. In this case I've been charged double 🙄

Most small business owners genuinely want to help and will often have options available, such as:

✨ Transferring your booking to a future event
✨ Posting any event materials to you
✨ Arranging collection if you're local
✨ Finding another suitable solution

Communication is always appreciated and usually leads to a much better outcome for everyone involved.
