As you may already know, metal conducts heat 🔥. Leaving your piercings in direct sunlight can cause your jewellery to become very hot and potentially irritate or even burn the piercing site 😖.

🌞 Sun Safety✨ Avoid sunbathing and sunbeds unless your piercing is covered.✨ Try to keep fresh piercings out of direct sunlight where possible.

💦 SweatingSweating is completely normal, especially during hot weather ☀️🥵, but excess moisture around your piercing can cause irritation and increase the risk of infection 🦠.

✅ If your piercing becomes sweaty or damp, make sure you dry it thoroughly.✅ Keep the area clean, dry, and well cared for.

🏊‍♀️ Swimming & Hot Tubs🚫 Avoid swimming pools.🚫 Avoid hot tubs and jacuzzis.🚫 Avoid submerging fresh piercings in water where bacteria may be present.

These can all increase the risk of infection 🦠⚠️ and may slow down healing ❤️‍🩹.
