✨ Case Study: Supporting Joint Health with Antioxidants ✨
Meet one of my recent clients...
👤 Age: 55–65
💊 Taking prescribed medication, but no supplements
🥦 Averaging just 2 portions of fruit and vegetables per day, but open to making positive changes.
🎯 Health goal: Reduce joint inflammation.
Here’s what we changed:
💊 Introduced a high-quality, high-strength curcumin supplement in an appropriate form and dose. This was carefully selected based on the client’s current medications to ensure it was suitable.
🍎 Increased fruit intake by 1 extra portion per day.
🥕 Added 2 portions of orange and red vegetables daily, boosting antioxidant-rich foods.
😴🚶💧 No changes were made to sleep, exercise or hydration—just nutrition and targeted supplementation.
📈 Result: Antioxidant levels increased by 28%! Now in the yellow range.
This is a great example of how small, sustainable changes—like adding just a few extra portions of colourful fruit and vegetables each day—may increase your body’s antioxidant status, helping to combat oxidative stress and support healthy inflammation.
Curcumin may also have played an important role thanks to its well-researched anti-inflammatory properties.
✨ Remember, every person is different, and recommendations should always be tailored to your individual health, medications and goals.
