There is a lot of spiritual bu****it out there and the concept or belief that you will only attract love once you are fully healed is one of them.
When we begin our awakening journey - the journey into ourselves and all of our parts, the exploration and excavation of the darkest corners of your mind, and the memories held within your body, it can feel like there is so much work to be done, how will we ever reach the finish line?
But healing isn't supposed to become your whole personality. To heal is also to live, to love, to make mistakes, to be silly, to experiment and to try new things. For so long I put life on hold because I was too busy 'healing', and for me that was tied to being physically disabled and therefore unable to do a lot of the things that brought me joy, however one of the biggest mistakes I made was believing that I wasn't healed enough to be worthy of love.
For a while I thought that I could only date people if I had gone to my deepest darkest wounds and untied the source of the pain. I realise now that healing is non-linear and we should never put life on hold because we need to 'fix' our trauma.
We are not broken toys that need to be fixed, we are human beings who get to make mistakes and learn through them. We learn through our mistakes, whether that be people or experiences.
Sure doing inner work will absolutely help you attract aligned partnerships and healthy relationships and that's very important, however, I see how so many people especially women have gotten lost in the healing rabbit hole and don't believe that they will meet the person of their dreams until they have fully healed their childhood trauma.
I want to offer you a different perspective. What if meeting that person activates the deeper layers of yourself waiting to be met, to be seen, to have love poured into them. Our wounds heal when they are met with love. We are NOT supposed to do this alone.
It is within relationships that our traumas happen and it is within relationships that they heal.
You are so WORTHY and LOVED โค๏ธ
