📢 Missed Appointments Matter – Brechin Health Centre
In May alone, 30 hours of NHS clinical time were lost due to appointments not being attended or cancelled at short notice.
This has a real impact:
❗ Patients wait longer to be seen
❗ NHS staff time is wasted
❗ Appointments go unused

We know booking systems matter. When appointments are booked far in advance, more tend to be missed. That’s why we use an on-the-day appointment system — it helps reduce missed appointments and ensures we can care for more patients when they need us most.
