Update in the portfolio of some recent work this year

Just like that it’s September 1st…

A little look at what we’ve got going on this month.

The light green days are when the studio is closed, and the dark green days are our walk-in flash evenings (Tues 8th & Fri 25th)
If you’re wanting something specific not from the flash book on one of the walk-in evenings, please remember we need a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to get the design ready. If you’re happy to choose on the night, there’s plenty in the book to have a rummage through. These are small designs starting from £30 and are arms, legs and upper back only.

Then towards the end of the month we’re VERY excited to go and see Urzila Carlson - there’s still time if she decides she fancies a tattoo while she’s here… just saying. 👀

Then on the 29th, we’re off cow cuddling and quite frankly H is on countdown (she LOVES cows) 🐮

And before we know it, it’ll be October, which means Halloween is creeping up on us and so is the Roulette Event at the end of the month. Still some spaces left so drop us a message if you’re feeling brave enough 👻

Here’s to a September we’re really looking forward to.

Yesterday reminded us that everyone carries a story. Here’s a few more pictures from the event.

Myself & H want to say the biggest thank you to everyone who came through our door. Whether you came for a tattoo, picked up a book, popped in for a chat or simply came to say hello.

Thank you to everyone who trusted us with their stories. For the memories shared, the laughs, the tears, the moments of remembering and the conversations that probably wouldn’t have happened anywhere else.

This is why we love what we do. Because sometimes it’s not just about the tattoo. It’s about the person sitting in front of us, the story behind their tattoo and the connection that happens along the way.

Together, we raised £328 through tattoo percentage proceeds and donations for Brewood Dementia Support Group.

And a special thank you to our friend Danni — for helping us throughout the day, being our photographer and being an absolute legend. You even let H escape home for a little while to feed the fur babies and make us some dinner, which was very much appreciated after a long day.

The event may be over, but the stories shared yesterday don’t end here.

They’re now part of a story we’ll carry with us.

The countdown is on…

Our The Stories We Carry event supporting Brewood Dementia Support Group is almost here.

The tattoo side of the event is now fully booked, and we’ll be donating 20% of all tattoo takings to the charity.

But there’s still plenty happening on the day — including our book sale & swap.

📖 Got a book you’ve finished with? Bring it along and swap it for another story.
📖 Prefer to just find something new to read? Choose a pre-loved book and leave a suggested £1 donation.

We’ll also have bookmarks available for a suggested 50p donation, plus something extra special made by Nat’s niece — handmade crocheted forget-me-not badges. These are limited and just £2 each, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Whether you’re coming to find your next read, pick up a little keepsake, or simply pop in to support a brilliant local cause — we’d love to see you.

“I want a tattoo… but I’ve got absolutely no idea what I’m supposed to do.”

We get it.

That first message can feel a bit daunting, especially if you’ve never been tattooed before or you’re not quite sure how the whole process works.

So we thought we’d go through what actually happens when you book with us — from the first message, to setting a date, to sitting in the chair, to heading home with your new tattoo.

And honestly, there’s no need to have everything worked out before you message us.

Got reference pictures? Brilliant.

Don’t have any? That’s fine too.

Not sure about size? We can help.

Nervous? Completely normal.

Want to sit with your headphones on and not talk? No offence taken whatsoever.

Need a break halfway through? Take one.

Our aim is for you to feel comfortable enough to actually enjoy your tattoo experience — not like you need to know some secret tattoo-client etiquette before you walk through the door.

So save this for when you’re ready to take the plunge, send it to the mate who keeps saying “I really want one but…” and, when you’re ready…

Nat will be offering her Build Your Own Tarot Card tattoos, as well as her usual flash designs throughout the evening. 🔮

We’ll also have a medium in the studio for the evening. The medium is now fully booked, but there are still spaces available with Nat for tattoos.

As some appointments will be medium reading first, followed by a tattoo, we’re recommending that you book your tattoo appointment in advance rather than relying on walk-ins.
