An itchy C-section scar can be so annoying and uncomfortable, especially when scratching it doesn't help.

The good news? Itching is usually a normal part of the healing process. As nerves regenerate and healing continues, many mums experience itching, tingling, or unusual sensations around their scar.

In this video, we're sharing some simple ways to help relieve the itch, including cooling the area, keeping your scar clean, and using products that support healthy scar healing.

We've also included two of our favourite recovery products:

✨ Naqi Repair Oil, the only oil which can be used from just 2 weeks post birth.

✨ Scarban silicone products, which can help reduce itching, redness, tightness, and improve scar appearance.

You can find both in the Shop tab on our website, along with an exclusive discount for our community (check the link in the comments below).

Scar massage can make a difference.

Many mums are told that once their scar has healed, that's it. But scars can continue to change and improve for months and even years after a C-section.

Scar massage and treatment can help improve mobility and may reduce symptoms such as pain, sensitivity, numbness, itching, tightness, and overhang caused by restricted scar tissue.

These changes don't happen overnight, but with the right techniques and consistency, many mums notice a significant difference in how their scar feels and behaves.

If you'd like to learn how to assess and treat your own C-section scar from the comfort of home, our online course teaches you exactly what to do, step by step. Visit our website to learn more (link in bio and in comments below).

Many mums assume their C-section overhang is simply something they have to live with. But in some cases, your scar could be playing a bigger role than you realise.

If your scar feels stuck down, lumpy, hard, or doesn't move freely, it may be contributing to the appearance of an overhang.

The good news? Scar tissue can often be improved with the right techniques. Gentle scar massage can help improve mobility, soften scar tissue, and support the healing process over time.

The key is consistency. Just 5 minutes a day can make a real difference.

If you want to understand what's causing your C-section overhang and what you can do about it at home then download our free guide on our website (under the Free guides tab) - link in the comments below.

So many mums feel guilty when they don't have the energy to exercise at the end of the day.

But let's take a moment to acknowledge what you've already done.

You've carried a baby. Pushed a pram. Picked toys up off the floor a hundred times. Prepared meals.

Changed nappies. Settled tears. Carried the mental load of remembering everything and everyone.
Motherhood is physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding.

That doesn't mean movement isn't important. It is. But sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is listen to your body and rest.

This season won't last forever. There will be time for longer walks, gym sessions, and fitness goals. Right now, if you're exhausted, it's okay to honour that too.

Save this for the days you need the reminder, and share it with a mum who might need to hear it too.

Constipation after a C-section is no joke. Between trapped wind, pain medication, surgery, and limited movement, it's incredibly common in those early days after birth.

The good news? There are a few simple things that can help get things moving and make you feel a little more comfortable while you recover.

Remember, if you're struggling, you're not alone. So many mums experience this, but it's one of those postpartum topics that doesn't get talked about enough.

Did you experience constipation after your C-section? What helped you the most? Share your tips below. You never know which fellow mum might need to hear them.

Once your baby arrives, the focus understandably shifts to this tiny new person who needs you for everything. But somewhere along the way, many mums can end up feeling forgotten.

Your body has been through one of the biggest physical changes it will ever experience. You're recovering, adjusting to a new identity, navigating sleep deprivation, hormonal shifts, and sometimes struggling with your mental and emotional wellbeing too.

And if you've had a C-section, chances are nobody showed you how to properly care for your scar, manage sensitivity, or support long term healing.

Mums deserve better postpartum support.

That's exactly why we wrote The 360 Mama Guide to C-Section Recovery: Everything You Need to Know - a practical, evidence-based guide to help you recover with confidence.

It's surprising how many women leave hospital without clear advice on how to care for their C-section wound, even though good wound care can help reduce the risk of infection, support healing, and improve how your scar looks and feels over time.

A few important reminders:

• Only remove your dressing when advised to do so by your doctor or healthcare provider. Make sure you know exactly when before you leave hospital.

• Avoid using perfumed soaps or products directly on the wound area.

• Wear loose, comfortable clothing to reduce friction and allow airflow around the scar.

• If your tummy hangs over your scar, medical-grade Manuka honey can be a fantastic tool for supporting wound healing and reducing the risk of infection.

These simple steps can make a big difference during those early weeks of recovery.

Save this post for later and share it with a new mum or mum-to-be who might find it helpful ❤️

Did you know that scar massage can help reduce tightness, improve mobility, ease sensitivity, and support your recovery after a C-section?

Before you start, make sure your wound is completely healed and fully closed, with no scabs remaining. While many scars are ready around 6 to 8 weeks after birth, healing times vary. If your scar isn't fully healed yet, it's best to wait.

If your scar feels very sensitive to touch, start gently. Using a soft, clean make-up brush, lightly brush above and around the scar area to help your body become more comfortable with touch before progressing to massage.

A little tip: scar massage is most effective on dry skin. If you'd like to use an oil or moisturiser, apply it afterwards to help keep the scar hydrated and supple.

Many mums are never told how important scar care can be, but a few minutes of gentle scar massage can make a real difference over time.
