✨️✨️A Wave of Light Across the UK.✨️✨️
This Saturday 8th August, between 7:00pm and 9:00pm, TreatSMA will create a Wave of Light across the UK in memory of everyone we have lost to Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), while honouring those who came before us.
Our memorial will be displayed on SEVENTY screens across the UK. Including some of the UK's largest and most iconic outdoor screens. It will appear at landmark locations including the famous Leicester Square screen, the iconic Carnaby Street screen, the Birmingham Arch, Aspen Way leading towards Canary Wharf, the Manchester Arndale Banner, and many other locations across the UK.
Please see the map and the full list of locations where the memorial will be shown. There is also an interactive version on our website (link in comments 🔗). We have carefully selected screens across the country because TreatSMA has always believed that no one should ever be left behind. We wanted to ensure that as many families, friends, supporters, and members of the public as possible have the opportunity to come together to remember those we have lost.
We invite everyone to go, pause, and remember. Take a moment to reflect on every life lost to SMA, honour the families whose lives have been forever changed, and remember those whose courage, love and legacy helped shape a better future for the SMA community.
If you visit one of the displays or see one on your travels, please take a photograph and share it across every social media platform, helping us create a nationwide Wave of Light so that this tribute reaches every corner of the UK and beyond. Please tag us and
Thank you to Ocean Outdoor for their generous help in making this possible.
Unite with us. Go. Pause. Remember. And share the light ✨️
Together, we remember every life. Every name. Every family. Gone, but never forgotten.
