πŸ“£ We want to hear from you!

We’ve launched a short survey and want your views on where HIV testing should be offered.

Your answers will help us make sure services are:

βœ” Easy to get to

βœ” Safe and welcoming

βœ” In places that work for our communities

The survey is quick, anonymous, and completely optional.

New year, fresh energy ✨

Whether your resolutions are big, small, or still loading β€” starting the year well includes taking control of your sexual health.

It really can be as simple as 3 steps:
Testing. Prevention. Honest conversations.
Small actions that all add up.

πŸ§ͺ

Testing regularly matters

Early diagnosis and treatment protect your health and help prevent STIs from being passed on. Our next CAB clinic is at Charlotte Keel on 29 January, and there are lots of other ways to get tested too β€” including free self-sampling kits. Find out more at yunosexualhealth.co.uk

πŸ›‘οΈ

Prevention works

Condoms help prevent STIs (including HIV) and pregnancy where that’s a risk. PrEP is a medication that protects you from acquiring HIV. We’re keeping our CAB Impact Network across Bristol stocked up with free condoms and tests β€” so you can stay equipped.

πŸ’¬

Honest, shame-free conversations

Talking openly about testing, prevention, and what you want β€” in and out of the bedroom β€” is key.
Check in with yourself and the people you care about.

Here’s to a year of confidence, connection, and care

πŸ’›

Because everyone deserves great health β€” and that includes great sexual health.

πŸŽ„ Christmas Message from CAB πŸŽ„

Don’t forget β€” CAB clinics are taking a little festive nap and will be back at the end of January.

But just because we might be putting our feet up over the holidays doesn’t mean you can sack off your Sexual Elf πŸ˜‰

Think of it as the ultimate stocking filler:

🎁 Wrap your candy canes

🎁 Get your PrEP order in (Santa loves planning ahead)

🎁 Test regularly

🎁 Have open, honest chats with anyone you’re sharing mince pies and beds with

It’s a great gift for you, for anyone you sleep with, and for everyone who cares about you.

So if you need a test while we’re away β€” don’t panic, we’ve got you covered:

πŸ§ͺ Free STI self-sampling kits

Order online through Yuno and test from the comfort of your sofa (pyjamas encouraged).

Just remember the Christmas post may cause delays in receiving kits and results β€” so keep calm while you wait for that text message ping πŸ“±βœ¨

πŸ₯ Sexual health clinics

Yuno clinics across Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire are open over winter (reduced hours β€” like us after one mulled wine).

Check our slides for dates and times of other community testing services.

Whether you’ve been naughty, nice, or somewhere in between, you deserve great sexual elf this Christmas ❀️

Have the best rest of December, take care of yourselves (and each other), and we’ll see you again very soon πŸŽ…πŸΎβœ¨

Today is World AIDS Day ❀️

CAB are proud to stand in solidarity with the global movement of people fighting against HIV and AIDS. Today we invite you to pause with us, to remember the lives lost to HIV. We also celebrate and honour the strength, resilience and diversity of people living with HIV and those communities most affected by it.

HIV has changed. Treatment works. People living with HIV can live long, healthy lives and can’t pass the virus on when on effective treatment (U=U).

But inequalities still exist, HIV continues to be stigmatised and misunderstood. Together we can change that by:

✨ Getting people talking about HIV and sexual health
✨ Challenging stigma, shame and fear by sharing facts and real information
✨ Encouraging testing, so fewer people live with HIV without knowing it

Stand with us today on World AIDS Day.
