This is how a centre gets built 💜
Not just with bricks, plans and specialist equipment, but with people choosing to show up.
This month, our supporters have been running, walking, baking, donating and backing Gympanzees in brilliant ways.
Our Great Bristol Run weekend was a huge moment. Across the Minis, 10K and Half Marathon, more than 115 runners took part and raised an incredible £32,879.30.
A phenomenal total, and yes, we are still slightly emotional about it, in the best possible way.
We also want to say a special thank you to:
💜 Rosemary Gairdner, who completed a peaceful 10K walk around Stonehenge over the weekend of 10 May, raising a fantastic £1,060.
💜 Enterprise Mobility, who gave our Capital Appeal a brilliant boost with a generous cheque for £8,500.
💜 Kings Heavy Haulage, who supported Gympanzees with transport and logistics, helping us keep things moving behind the scenes.
💜 H2R Selection, who held a cake sale and raised a brilliant £150 for Gympanzees. Proof that cake really can change the world, one slice at a time.
We are also hugely grateful to Digby Player, Ashfield Land, J&M Britton Charitable Trust and The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire Charitable Trust, who together gave an incredible £26,000 towards our Capital Appeal and support we can use where it’s needed most.
