British actor and comedian Ricky Gervais has donated nearly $3,345,000 to 22 charities focused on animal rescue and welfare, using part of the proceeds from his latest comedy tour. Four foundations will receive contributions of approximately $200,700 each, 17 others will get around $138,000, and the remaining amount will be allocated to Nowzad, an organization dedicated to animal protection in Afghanistan and Ukraine. This isn't the first time the comedian has made such generous donations. He also explained that the initiative aims to "celebrate the spirit of Christmas" 🎄🐶.
