What happens in our sessions?

We run free weekly nature therapy sessions consisting of a short introduction to nature therapy and why we do it, followed by 3 or 4 facilitated mindfulness exercises. In between the exercises there is a chance to share how we found them.

We then have a drink and plant based snacks and have a chat about nature connection, what it means to us, and any nature experiences we’ve had that we want to share.

The last few weeks of nature therapy have been stunning. We've had sunshine, cold winds and beautiful blue skies. We've seen early bees, butterflies and even a fox made an appearance. It's so important to let ourselves slow down and have a moment of calm in nature. Send us an email if you want to come along and join us.

Next Wednesday we will be restarting nature therapy sessions at The Haven. Unfortunately we have had to change the time slightly. Sessions will now be earlier at 10am until 12noon.

Hope to see some of you there for a chance to slow down and connect with nature. For people who haven't been before, the sessions are a series of mindfulness exercises which we all do together then we have space to talk about nature connection.

Although it has been very wet, nature is still beautiful and so good for our health. There is a covered area if it is raining :)

We are taking a break from Wednesday sessions for a few weeks over Christmas and New Year. We will be back early 2026, depending how cold it is, hopefully late January/early Feb. We will let you all know on here. Our session last week was great, lots of birds singing and some amazing gusts of wind.

We've recently had information stalls at the Grow Wilder and Easton Community Centre Christmas markets, chatting to people about the health benefits of nature. It's lovely getting out and about, meeting new people, sharing information about what we do, but also hearing peoples inspiring stories about how nature has helped them.

As we move into Autumn and it is getting a little colder, it's important to make sure we are still getting out into nature when we can. Sessions are still going at the Haven every Wednesday, it is still stunningly beautiful there. We have hot drinks and a covered area. Come and join us.
