**WEIGHT LOSS JABS**

Last week I had a new member join my group who told me that she had been on weight loss jabs. She'd been really pleased with her weight loss but, as soon as she started to come off them, her food noise came back and she started to put on weight immediately 😢

I went through the plan with her, shared the resources we have available on our website and app for members taking (or coming off weight loss medication) and she came back last night with a loss of 7lb in her first week 🥳 Not feeing hungry, not feeling deprived, not missing out 💗

Meet our lovely member Laura, who has lost an incredible 5 stone! 🎉

Not only has Laura embraced our healthy eating plan, but she has also discovered a real love for walking and being active. Her determination and commitment have helped her achieve amazing results, both on and off the scales.

Recently, Laura took on two of Wales' most iconic peaks, climbing Snowdon and Pen y Fan — a fantastic achievement and a testament to how far she has come. 🥾⛰️

Laura, you should be so proud of yourself. Your journey is inspiring, and we can't wait to see what challenge you conquer next! ❤️

This is just ONE of my proudest moments ..… but I have hundreds more .... Because there really is nothing quite like being a Slimming World Consultant 😍

Helping people in my community — friends, neighbours, and loved ones — live healthier, happier lives is something I’ll never get tired of. Every single week I get to spend time with the most gorgeous people in my groups, and watching them rediscover themselves and truly enjoy life again is incredibly powerful 🙌🏻

This role fits perfectly around my lifestyle too. It gives me amazing flexibility and freedom 🫶🏼 25 years in, and I still have absolutely NO regrets 🥰

We can't deny that weight loss medication is out there and, for lots of people, it is the right option for them. BUT, what happens after the weight loss ? Research has shown that the 'food noise' can return and that people can regain the weight they've lost (and more) which would be devastating to someone who has spent hundreds or thousands of pounds on their chosen weight loss choice.

Slimming World have stepped up and we now have a dedicated section on our app called 'the Weight Loss Medication Hub'
