To fall is to have soared ✨

Work in progress

Today’s piece is a classic, Icarus falling from the sun. We decided to keep it closer to the original myth with the wings strapped to his arms rather than part of his body. Still a work in progress, but really enjoyed bringing this one to life.

Soul mates, but make it spooky 👻

Loving creating these tarot pieces lately, they’ve been a fun way to blend meaning with placement. Today’s card is The Lovers, which fit perfectly as a gap filler on the back of my client’s arm. The butterfly is slightly morphed due to how I’ve positioned her arm for the photo (totally normal, I promise 😂) This was my first piece for her, so the surrounding tattoos are by another artist, but I’m so happy to have added a little piece of fate to her collection ♥️
