One meeting ends.
The next starts in four minutes.
That's not enough time for a workout.
But it is enough time to change position.
Before opening the next call:
1. Sit away from the backrest.
2. Gently lift your chest.
3. Roll your shoulders slowly.
4. Take 3 relaxed breaths.
Then continue your day.
No floor.
No equipment.
No workout clothes.
No dramatic stretching.
Just a tiny interruption between two periods of sitting.
Try it after your next meeting.

“If you only remember one desk-health rule, remember this.”
Visual: clock moving toward midday.
“Don't wait until the end of your workday to think about your body.
Midday is your opportunity to interrupt the pattern before another afternoon of sitting.
Move.
Breathe.
Reset.
Then get back to work.”

Morning: you feel fine.
Midday: you notice a little tightness.
5 PM: now you finally decide you should do something.
That's the pattern I want desk workers to rethink.
Instead of making your evening responsible for undoing your entire workday, build a small interruption into the workday.
That's why the midday reset matters so much.
It's not about doing a workout.
It's simply a deliberate break from the position you've been repeating for hours.
Think:
Morning → Activate
Midday → Interrupt
Afternoon → Unload
Three small checkpoints.
One much more intentional workday.

Before you're really uncomfortable, your body often gives you smaller signals.
Maybe you:
• keep shifting in your chair
• feel your hips getting tight
• start leaning toward the screen
• notice your shoulders creeping upward
• feel unusually restless
• stand up and realise you're stiffer than expected
These little moments matter.
Instead of treating them as annoyances, use them as reset cues.
You don't necessarily need to wait until 4 or 5 PM.
Your body can become the reminder.
Which one happens to you most often?
A — Constant shifting
B — Tight hips
C — Rounded shoulders
D — Lower-back tension
E — All of them 😅

Here's why many wellness routines fail desk workers:
They're designed like another task.
30 minutes before work.
A workout at lunch.
A long stretching session after work.
Useful for some people?
Absolutely.
Realistic every busy Tuesday?
Not always.
That's why I prefer a different idea:
Make the intervention smaller.
Three minutes is easier to start.
Three minutes fits between meetings.
Three minutes doesn't require changing clothes.
Three minutes doesn't require leaving your desk.
And when something is easy enough to repeat, it has a much better chance of becoming part of your workday.
That's the philosophy behind Desk Reset Protocol:
3 minutes. 3 times a day.
Not another workout.
A workday reset.

“Most desk workers don't need another complicated routine competing for space in their calendar.
They need something small enough to actually do.
Three minutes before the day builds up.
Three minutes around midday.
Three minutes before finishing work.
The goal isn't doing more.
It's interrupting sitting more consistently.”

SMALL ENOUGH TO DO.
STRUCTURED ENOUGH TO REMEMBER.

You can sit with your screen at the right height.

You can keep your feet flat.

You can buy the ergonomic chair.

And still finish the day feeling stiff.

Why?

Because good posture doesn't eliminate the need for movement.

A comfortable position can be useful.

But holding any position for hours without changing it can leave your body asking for a break.

So instead of spending the whole day trying to maintain one "perfect" posture, try something more realistic:

Change position. Move briefly. Reset. Continue working.

Your body doesn't need perfection.

It needs variation.

Save this for the next time you catch yourself trying to sit perfectly for eight hours.

Your Body Doesn't Suddenly Start Hurting...
It Changes Every Hour You Sit.

Most people believe back discomfort appears out of nowhere.
But your body is changing long before you notice it.
Every hour at your desk:
• Your hips become a little tighter.
• Your muscles become a little less active.
• Your posture becomes a little harder to maintain.
• Your body works a little less efficiently.
By the time you notice discomfort...
The process has already been happening for hours.
The good news?
Small interruptions throughout your workday can make a meaningful difference.
💬 What's the first thing you notice after sitting for several hours?

Let's Build Healthier Workdays Together.

Thousands of people work at a desk every day.

Most of them quietly accept stiffness, tightness and fatigue as "part of the job."

I don't think it has to be.

That's why We created Desk Reset Protocol.

This page isn't about perfection.

It's about helping desk workers finish the day feeling better than they expected.
