Have you ever wanted to train in a gym but not know what to do? Are you anxious about being judged by other people when training?

Training in a private gym where there is a limited number people training at one time is definitely your answer. I work at a private gym which caters for the Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and Hassocks area. It’s a perfect environment to start up your training in a friendly environment where there is no judgement.

I’ve had previous experience working through personal battles with mental health and achieving weight loss, as well as helping clients achieve their own personal goals. I offer 1-1 PT sessions and there is also access to 1-4 Group PT too. Please feel free to contact me for more information.

It’s been a very long time since I posted anything on here. I hope you’re all well.

Life has been extremely busy. My career has taken off and I’m loving being a Personal Trainer, I have been doing this for over three years now. If anyone wants any info about what I do and what I offer then feel free to message me.

I’ve learnt ways to help myself get stronger and manage full time work. It’s not easy but having a job you love really helps achieve this.

Having good mental health has never been so important and it is well known that exercise helps us feel good, both mentally and physically.

I have personal experiences dealing with anxiety and depression. Going to the gym massively helped me feel better and it changed my life after years of struggling, it then led me to becoming a PT. If you want to improve your fitness and are concerned about the hustle and bustle of commercial gyms, then consider 1-1 Personal Training in a private gym.

I wanted to share with you this inspirational post about Ellie's brilliant achievement. She completed a 30-day Cold Water Challenge back in November, which involved swimming in the sea for at least two minutes every day. As we can all appreciate the sea is very cold at this time of year and it's not a challenge for the faint hearted. Ellie has struggled with mental health problems over the years but has found cold water therapy and Reiki Healing to help her and she is in a much better place right now with a positive mindset. Ellie wanted to raise awareness for mental health and give something back to Mind, the mental health charity. She has raised £300 for the charity through JustGiving, which is amazing. I donated and if any of you can please donate then that would be fantastic. The link is in the comments section. Ellie is an amazing person and she's someone who I have a lot of time for. Well done Ellie 🙂

After trying to manage bad anxiety and depression which dictated my life for 25 years, I am now a qualified Personal Trainer. Since January 2021 I have been helping clients achieve their goals, as well as improving their mental health 😀

I’ve found my way out and I’m now at a new chapter in my life, I am proof that your life can be turned around and there is always hope 😊🙏🏻 My life changed for the better when I joined the gym in 2018 and I’ve not looked back since. Yesterday evening was the first time that I've been to a black tie event in years and the first time I've ever felt confident wearing anything formal. Was I anxious? Of course, but I went and I had a good time. It's all part of the process when growing as an individual and I can assure you all that I would not of been able to do this three years ago.

It's important to remember that everyone will grow in their own time.

Back squat with 60kg. I’ve now added tempo which in turn makes the whole workout much tougher, four seconds down into the squat (Eccentric phase) with a one second pause at the bottom (Isometric phase). To achieve this I have had to reduce the weight to 50kg, I will be aiming to get back up to 60kg and beyond.
