We're so excited to invite you to our very first event as Reiki Calm.

Join us for Reiki at the Ranch on Saturday 19th September 2026 for a relaxing evening of healing, connection and compassion, all in the beautiful surroundings of Gee Gees Ranch. Imagine spending time surrounded by rescued animals while taking a moment to slow down, breathe and reconnect with yourself.

Your evening will include:
Reiki treatments
Tarot readings
Tea and coffee
Delicious homemade cakes
Time to meet some of the wonderful rescued animals who call the ranch home

The best part? Every penny raised will go directly towards caring for the rescued animals at Gee Gees Ranch.

Whether you've experienced Reiki before or you're simply curious to try something new, everyone is welcome. Come along, unwind, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and help make a difference to some very deserving animals.

Looking forward to seeing you join our new cause. Bringing love and light from us both ☺️🙏✨

Over the past few months, we've brought together our homes, our children and even our cats into one happy family. It feels only natural that our spiritual journeys should come together too. We're so excited to share that Reiki with Sarah and Reiki with Dan are becoming Reiki Calm.

Reiki Calm brings together our shared passion for helping others through Reiki, intuitive guidance, tarot readings and holistic wellbeing. Together, we're creating a calm, welcoming space where you can pause, reconnect and take time for yourself.

We're based in Red Lodge and also offer mobile appointments across the local area, including our hometown of Bury St Edmunds. By working around our full-time jobs, we can offer flexible appointments, with Sarah generally available evenings and weekends, and Dan available during the day thanks to his shift pattern.

From September, we'll be welcoming clients and, over time, we hope to grow Reiki Calm even further with holistic treatments, workshops and courses, combining our skills to support your wellbeing.

This is more than just a new name—it's the beginning of a shared dream, and we can't wait to take you on this journey with us.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us individually over the years. We hope you'll continue to support us as we begin this exciting new chapter together.

It’s been over 40 days since I last shared here, and somehow, time has simply flowed by.

Life has shifted beautifully. Sarah and I have begun weaving our lives and families together, and my energy has naturally turned inward — grounding, settling and creating our new home.

Sometimes the Universe asks us to pause our outward lightwork so we can tend to the roots within.

For two years, a seed has been quietly growing: Reiki with Dan and Reiki with Sarah becoming Reiki Calm.

Now that seed is beginning to bloom.

Some seeds are planted long before anyone sees the first sprout.
For some time now, Sarah and I have been quietly nurturing something that feels deeply aligned with our purpose. We've trusted divine timing, followed our intuition, and allowed it to unfold exactly as it was meant to.
Soon, we'll be ready to share what we've been creating together. It's something close to our hearts, created with intention, love, and the hope of bringing light to others.
The Universe has a beautiful way of revealing things at just the right moment.

Tarot and Oracle Cards Don't Tell You What To Do

One of the biggest misconceptions about tarot and oracle cards is that they predict the future or tell you how to live your life.
For me, they're something much simpler: a conversation. The cards don't make decisions for you, and they certainly don't take away your free will. Instead, they offer a fresh perspective, helping you recognise thoughts, feelings, patterns, or possibilities you may have overlooked.
Think of tarot and oracle cards as mirrors. Sometimes they reflect what you already know deep down; other times, they encourage you to ask better questions and explore new ways of thinking.
You don't need any special beliefs to benefit from a reading—just an open and curious mind.
The answers are already within you. The cards simply help you hear them more clearly.

What's Distracting You Right Now? 🤔

Take a moment and ask yourself that question honestly.
What's taking up space in your mind today?

Is it something happening in the world, a situation at work, money worries, your health, or simply waiting for someone you care about to come home?

It's easy to become pulled in different directions by thoughts, worries, and endless distractions. Before long, we find ourselves living everywhere except the present moment.

What if, just for a minute, you let those thoughts settle and focused on where you are right now?
Notice your breathing. Notice what's around you.

The world will keep moving, but peace is often found when we stop chasing every distraction and reconnect with the present moment.

For just over a month I’ve been without a car, and the difference has been noticeable.
What first felt like an inconvenience has gently become an opportunity.
Walking everywhere has allowed me to slow down and be more present, taking in the sights, sounds, and subtle beauty around me.
Without the constant rush and distraction, I’ve felt more grounded and connected—both to the world and within myself.
Sometimes what seems like a pause is actually an invitation to realign, to reconnect, and to appreciate the simple moments that often go unnoticed. A reminder that there is beauty in slowing down.

Life doesn’t pause does it, even when we’re called to step back and go inward.

I’ve been quieter here, not because the path has faded, but because I’ve been moving through a period of change. Shifting energy, releasing what no longer aligns, and grounding into what’s next.

Even in silence, the flow continues. Energy is always working, beneath the surface, beyond what’s seen.

Absence isn’t disconnection, it’s integration.

If you’ve felt out of rhythm, trust that there’s purpose in the stillness. You’re being realigned, not left behind.

I’m still here. Present, grounded, and returning with clearer energy, stronger intention, and deeper awareness of the path ahead.
