Inspira Academy is a part of the (CAREA) Centralia Advanced Reflexology Education Authority.

CAREA Centres are unique which means that at Inspira Academy you will learn specialist techniques for a specialised qualification.

These are NOT available on any other Level 5 or University reflexology training courses.

The OTHM Level 5 in Applied Reflexology for Integrated Medicine has regulated units at levels 5 and 6 of education and is registered under the Skills for Health category for Nursing and Subjects and Vocations Allied to Medicine.

We were selected as the Pilot Training Course Provider for Level 5 Reflexology back in 2010

Inspira Academy has been accepted as a Member School of RiEN (Reflexology in Europe Network)

Fully regulated by the Global Awarding and Qualification Organisation OTHM and the UK Regulators Ofqual

Reiki was developed by Mikao Usui in Japan as an original method of healing during the early part of the 20th century, and is activated by intention.

Reiki promotes the body’s self healing ability at every level.

It is very important to be able to trace your Reiki Lineage - knowing your Reiki lineage is crucial for several reasons. First, it ensures the authenticity and legitimacy of your Reiki training.

By tracing your teacher’s lineage back to Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki, you can be confident that you are learning from a credible source.

Second, understanding your lineage connects you to a long tradition of Reiki practitioners, providing a sense of history and community. It also allows you to honour and respect the teachings of those who came before you.

Finally, a clear lineage helps maintain the integrity of Reiki practice, ensuring that the original principles and techniques are preserved and passed down accurately to future generations.

We are very proud and privileged to have a very direct ascendancy with only 6 (six) masters between ourselves and Mikao Usui.

Our team is led by the Director of Inspira Academy, Cath England.

Cath is a qualified teacher with a degree in Maths and a PGCE from the University of Birmingham. She taught maths for several years, including serving as Deputy Head of a large maths department, before training at Inspira in 2006 and 2007 to become a highly qualified professional and clinical reflexologist. Her specialist areas include fertility, maternity and spinal issues.

Cath runs a successful clinic and has also worked on a voluntary basis within palliative care settings and with children, including work at a crèche and other local community projects. She provides Reflexology, Reiki and Indian Head Massage treatments. Cath is also a Reiki Master and teacher.

Our dedicated training room is designed to provide ample natural light and a spacious layout with well-equipped desks. We've also tailored this space to cater to the practical aspects of your coursework, complete with custom Reflexology beds and stools.

There's no need to lug your own equipment; we've got you covered. In addition to our top-notch training facilities, our venue boasts a welcoming breakout/rest area where you can relax and recharge. You'll find comfortable sofas, tables for your convenience, unlimited tea and coffee, a refrigerator, and even a microwave.
