This Tuesday is the last Sound Bath I'll be running.
Work has taken over in the best and most chaotic way, and something had to give. These sessions have always been so close to my heart but the time feels right to close this chapter, at least for now.

I just want to say thank you. To everyone who has ever booked, shown up, wrapped themselves in a blanket and let go for an evening. You made these nights everything they were. Some of my favourite evenings have happened in that room with you all.

We’ll open with a warm cup of ceremonial cacao, then move into a deeply relaxing sound bath with Angelic Reiki healing. It’s gentle, it’s nourishing, and it genuinely leaves you feeling different.

We went on Easter egg hunt, but this sassy little monster was way too clever and forward thinking for the Easter bunny 🐰 it took all 3 of us some proper effort to try and hide the eggs on the walk. Grandad was the best at it! Then we had a sleepover and I have no idea how I managed to fit in the bed with Bella and George sprawled out everywhere but I did 🤣

I made a promise. The first time I held each of my children I told myself I’d always do my best. And I meant it, every single time. What a rollercoaster though. 🙈
Being a grandma is just different. I can’t explain why, it just is. And Bella has arrived at a time when I feel more grounded in who I am. More confident. More sure of what matters.
Maybe parenting really is just practice for grandparenting, and after three attempts I’m totally ready to smash this grandma thing. 😍
One day she’ll scroll back through here and know her grandma loved her so much. I’m nowhere near done yet, obvs. Do we ever feel like we are? That’s a whole other post. But the evidence is being built, post by post, year by year.
My kids made me the person who gets to be this grandma and I love them to the moon and back. Well, if it exists. (OMG that’s also another post.)
Anyway, my point is my best is better now. And she gets all of it. Until others come along anyway, and then I have no doubt she’ll be happy to share. 💗💗

What are you doing this September? 🌿

Because I know what I’ll be doing…

I’ll be in Bali. Watching the sunrise over rice fields, sitting in a sharing circle with a group of women who’ve come from all corners of the world, and wondering (for the hundredth time) how this retreat gets more magical every single year.

I co-host this retreat alongside my incredible friend Carolyn and honestly, it’s one of the things I love most in the world. 8 days in Ubud. Daily yoga, sound healing, a sacred water ceremony at a 1,000 year old temple, waterfall adventures, mala bead making, breathwork, beautiful food, and the kind of conversations that stay with you forever.

There’s a point on every uphill where I ask myself why I’m doing this.

Every single time. Without fail. Usually somewhere near the top when turning back would actually be more effort than carrying on 🙈
Always worth it though. There’s just something about getting up high and away from everything that just resets you. No notifications. No decisions. Just wind in your face and an amazing view.

I’m someone who genuinely needs this. The gym, the walks, the getting out. Without it I’m just a person staring at a laptop making increasingly questionable decisions by 4pm 😂
