Every skill, every success, every win, starts from solid foundations. Cambridge Surgical Models were proud to exhibit and host a Suturing and Wound Closure Workshop at the 🌟 Royal College of Surgeons England’s Future of Surgery Festival 🌟

📍 Situated in the Development Hub, medical students and junior trainees used CSM’s Next Generation Skin Pads to practise various wound closure methods, ranging from mattress to subcuticular ✅ Working on layer accuracy, instrument handling and tension control, Skin Pad feedback was fantastic ♥️

🌟 Exhibiting at the Festival alongside groundbreaking surgical technologies including Robotic 🤖 , VR 👓 and Simulation 🖥️ companies was a privilege, and reflects the College’s mission to advance surgical care and training, to ultimately improve patient outcomes 📊

With the 2026 Festival over, the team at Cambridge Surgical Models will return promptly to work back at our Cambridge HQ, to continue development of surgical training tools that will empower the training of current and future clinicians as well as allied healthcare professionals 🌎
