A couple of South Wales Dragons went to play in Manchester on Saturday. Judi and Malcolm had a great time playing for Team Preston. We are proud of Judi and Malcolm for increasing their skills and also for just coming out and having a fun day, meeting new friends and making those friends search hard for the balls they'd hit into the field.

We have more events coming up soon, so you can try it out!

Rydym yn falch o Judi a Malcolm am gynyddu eu sgiliau a hefyd am ddod allan a chael diwrnod hwyl, cwrdd â ffrindiau newydd a gwneud i'r ffrindiau hynny chwilio'n galed am y peli yr oeddent wedi'u taro i'r cae.

Hey sports fans, we've got a lot to share, and we'll get to that as soon as possible, but for now, we want to reshare a video made a couple seasons back by absolute legend Alex Boswell from Cardiff Merlins Baseball Club , for all our new players to help them explain their new favourite sport to their friends and families.

Have a watch - it mentions a tournament that has already happened, but the video is still a super great resource.

We've been back at it this season, and are very behind in shouting out about our activity. Lots of new players, we're so excited, and to help them explain the game to their friends, we're referencing this very useful video created by one of our fantastic volunteers and member of Cardiff Merlins Baseball Club, Alex Boswell. It references a tournament that has already taken place, but it's still a great resource.

We are really excited about our upcoming family day at Channel View Leisure centre on November 29 at 1-4 pm. We can't wait to bring this sport to some young, new players. We hope they love playing as much as we do!

We think the rain may have made some players wary, but we made a great day of it otherwise! We trained our new helpers to catch the ball at second base, and South Wales Dragons player Martin gave a demonstration of hitting the ball, fielding the ball, and throwing to second base. GB Coach John Eaton gave them a demonstration of how the clapping works, and Coach holly gave them a tour of the field. We're hoping the next event in Wrexham has more budding players

Did the rain wash the players away? We arrived excitedly in Wrexham, but we are guessing the wetness kept people away. We had a great day of it anyway! We trained our new helpers how to catch at second base and how to use the clappers. Martin, from South Wales Dragons, showed them his big hit and his amazing fielding technique! Then we had cookies! YUM! COOKIES!

A wnaeth y glaw olchi’r chwaraewyr i ffwrdd? Cyrhaeddon ni Wrecsam yn llawn cyffro, ond rydyn ni’n dyfalu bod y gwlybaniaeth wedi cadw pobl i ffwrdd. Cawson ni ddiwrnod gwych ohono beth bynnag! Hyfforddon ni ein cynorthwywyr newydd sut i ddal yn yr ail fas a sut i ddefnyddio’r clappers. Dangosodd Martin, o South Wales Dragons, ei ergyd fawr iddyn nhw a’i dechneg maesu anhygoel! Some of our players in Cardiff and Swansea braved the incredible heat today to come together for a little batting and fielding today...and some pineapple ice lollies.

Fe wnaeth rhai o'n chwaraewyr yng Nghaerdydd ac Abertawe herio'r gwres anhygoel heddiw i ddod at ei gilydd i fatio a maesu heddiw...a chael lolipops iâ pîn-afal.

Earlier in the week, we were at Swansea University for the Para Sport Festival with Disability Sport Wales . It was a great day, and we showed the sport to lots of lovely young people!

Yn gynharach yn yr wythnos, roedden ni ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe ar gyfer Gŵyl Chwaraeon Para gyda Chwaraeon Anabledd Cymru. Roedd yn ddiwrnod gwych, a dangoson ni'r gamp i lawer o bobl ifanc hyfryd!
