Hosta 'Coloured Hulk' initially lost its leaves, but have moved it to a warmer part shade and sun. This is what has happened. Coffee grounds (nitrogen) are round most plants and in the grass (just a little and water), it helps leaves grow. Also egg shells (calcium) too. It’s a good way of using my food waist. Good for worms and bacteria in soil too, not too much though😁

Moved a baby Dahlia from in pot of Calla Lillie’s and planted in ground. It’s in a shader area so we will see. Must have missed a bulb 😁

They all look the same but they are all different colour flowers. The Bees, Butterflies and hummingbird months love these flowers. Commonly known as the butterfly bush aka Buddliea.
One of my faves, but unfortunately they can get everywhere 🙃

This stunning plant the Calla Lily ‘Black Cantor’ are blooming, without fail. I have so many, some pots are up for sale pinned to my page oto. Unbelievable flowers, but if you plant them in the ground be aware they do spread easily, they need space as the leaves are quite big too. Tried it in my raised bed 😁
I haven’t seen any bees or butterflies pollinate them as yet, but doesn’t mean it isn’t happening, as seed pods do develop. Going to see if I can grow one from seed next year 😁

Roses the resting place of May bugs tucked in the petals. Only in the white/pinkish roses though, well that I know of 😁.

The white and lilac Blue Moon have scents, but the scent of the Blue Moon rose is just amazing.
