My body clock naturally switched to waking up at 0500, because I was now so full of energy. I started walking 15,000 steps each morning before breakfast. 9KM BY 9AM CHALLENGE - challenges you to take one of the 9KM By 9AM 7 DAY, 28 DAY or 90 DAY Challenges. Decide the 9KM BY 9AM Challenge 7 DAY, 28 DAY OR 90 DAY you want to complete.
2. Set your alarm clock so you get up in time for a 9KM walk before 9 O'clock.
3. You'll need a smartphone to track your walk so you can post a photograph of your walk map.
4. Post your walk on the Group page. For every Challenge completed you will receive a 9KM BY 9AM CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE. 7 x Walks Posted - 7 DAY, 28 x Walks Posted - 28 DAY, 90 x Walks Posted - 90 DAY

At the Association of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (ANLP) Conference this weekend for two days of learning, growth, and connection.

Looking forward to hearing from some brilliant speakers at the cutting edge of NLP, coaching, communication, and personal change — and taking away new ideas, tools, and perspectives to sharpen my coaching and hypnotherapy work even further.

Always good to keep learning, evolving, and surrounding yourself with people who are passionate about helping others create meaningful change.

GOING ALCOHOL-FREE: HOW AN IDENTITY SHIFT CHANGES EVERYTHING

I’m delighted to share that I recently joined Janet Gourand on the Tribe Sober podcast for a powerful conversation about alcohol-free living, limiting beliefs and the identity shift that sits at the heart of lasting change.

In the episode, we explore why willpower alone is rarely enough when it comes to changing your relationship with alcohol. For me, the turning point came when I stopped seeing myself as “a drinker trying to stop” and fully stepped into the identity of “I am a non-drinker.” That one shift changed everything.

We talk about the beliefs that keep people stuck in the drinking cycle - the idea that alcohol helps us relax, gives us confidence, helps us connect, or makes life more fun. Through coaching, hypnotherapy and practical mindset tools, those beliefs can be challenged, dismantled and replaced with something far more empowering.

During the conversation, I share tools from my own alcohol-free journey and my work as a hypnotherapist, life coach and author of Walking Back to Happiness, including the “tabletop technique,” future-self visualisation, the importance of environment and community, and the surprising physical benefits of going alcohol-free - including my calculation that I’ve saved around 26 million heartbeats since stopping drinking.
