🌟 Embrace Self-Compassion for a Healthier, Happier You! 🌟
Today’s meditation session was all about diving into the transformative power of SELF-COMPASSION. 🧘♀️✨ Cultivating self-compassion is not just a luxury but a necessity for our overall wellbeing and success. 🌈
We all lead busy and faced paced lives. The to-do list is endless and there are so many competing priorities. It’s easy to be hard on ourselves, especially when facing challenges. For me, I am always extra hard on myself when I forget something or get something wrong at work. Last week I was organising an event and I sent out the wrong time in an email to the speakers. Not cool, especially as the main speaker then didn’t show because she (understandably) thought the event was at a different time 🤦♀️
However, practicing self-compassion is way more helpful for us to come to a resolution & helps us to feel less turmoil, more resilience, and heightened emotional intelligence.
Looking at a situation through a lens of self compassion can:
🌟 Reduce Anxiety
🌟 Reduce Stress
🌟 Build Resilience
🌟 Increase Productivity
In the meditation today we focussed on the 3 components of self compassion:
1. Mindfulness
2. Togetherness
3. Kindness
