And when I say all the sh*t in the water I’m talking about heavy metals, chlorine, fluoride, hormones (!), plastic - the list goes on!

Majority of these are investments but have the biggest ROI for my health AND when you calculate cost per use it’s basically free 🤣 (girl maths right?!)

A little Cotswolds weekend dump 🤎🌿🐾

Country walks, Brandy living her absolute best life, lots of good food and time with my husband to be 🥹❤️

And honestly, this is such a big part of health for me too

I care a lot about what I eat and how I look after myself. At home, all our meals are home-cooked, I rarely buy sugary foods (unless Mike decides he wants snacky snacks and brings them home 🤣), and I genuinely love eating in a way that makes me feel good

But I also really love food - and a big part of our relationship is the fact we’re both foodies 🙊

I love having foodies meals with Mike, ordering what I actually fancy and having the dessert. I love sharing food with people. I love trying things. And sometimes that means sugar. Sometimes that means gluten. Sometimes it’s simply not the meal I’d make for myself at home.

Years ago, I found that much harder.

I could be so restrictive that eating something “off plan” felt like I’d ruined everything. And once I’d “ruined it”, I may as well just carry on or I restrict so much

Now, I can have a weekend like this, enjoy every bit of it, and come home without guilt, compensation or a dramatic Monday “restart”

I’m just… back to my normal life.

Home-cooked food, lots of plants, proper meals, moving my body and doing the things I know make me feel good.

And yes, after a weekend of richer food my body is currently asking me for another dessert 😂 but that doesn’t mean I need to turn the whole week into an extension of the weekend either!

I think one of the nicest things I’ve gained from working on my health over the years is actually this…being able to care about my body without being scared of food. I’ve got a healthy relationship with food now and I’ve found the pleasure that comes with food without the guilt

Health is a huge priority in my life (number 1 in fact I would say!)

But enjoying my life is too 💚

A few reminders from me because the internet is feeling rather loud at the moment - feels like we’re constantly being shouted at with what we should or shouldn’t be doing 🫠

Maxxing this. Optimising that. And then cutting something out.

Honestly sometimes I feel like saying stop the world please, I want to get off 🎠🎡🤡

So don’t forget, just because it is someone’s reality doesn’t mean it has to be yours. Don’t forget in a world that is constantly chasing doesn’t mean you have to be too.

And let’s not forget, just because it works for one person doesn’t mean that’s the thing that works for your body and the thing you should following 💚

What reminder did you need? 2 & 8 for me 🙈

I struggled for YEARS with bloating, urgency and extreme tiredness 30-mins after eating

Cutting out every food group under the sun, avoiding garlic, onions & dried fruits like the plague

Through my gut health studies I soon learnt why these things were happening and understanding the digestion sequence was one of the first steps to enable me to give my gut some TLC

This is also why a probiotic didn’t work all of the time or stopped working as soon as I stopped taking it 🫠 **reminder probiotics are not a magic gut fixing pill”

Gut health is so nuanced and so individual BUT it’s not just about your gut. It’s about the whole digestion sequence including how you’re eating, what you’re eating and if you’re digestion is actually working optimally

If you’d like 1:1 support with your gut health to literally beat your bloat or so you can wear what you want without thinking “will this make me look pregnant?” DM me the word “FIX” to find out how I can support you 💚

I’m always someone that will tell you food first always and get your digestion working correctly so what you’re putting in is actually digested & absorbed!

But we can’t ignore the fact that the nutrient density of our food today is a shadow of what it used to be in 50s - some researchers suggest up to 38% less nutritionally dense than 1950!

So there is a time and a place for supplements but i don’t believe in supplement maxxing or just taking them “just because”

These are my CORE supplements because:

1. Omega-3 testing showed that I needed it and when i dont take jt, i really notice the difference (Vit D included because i live jn the UK)

2. Magnesium because I’ve literally tested this in my sleep patterns and my wearable tells me when i take it continuously my sleep is better and i fall asleep quicker

3. I.M.8 because its worked for me. Again tested it with 3 months on 2 months off

4. Doctor Seaweed collagen because the results i had literally spoke for themselves!

Happy to share the links - comment “SUPPLEMENTS” below and i’ll send you a DM 💚

You get told the do’s and dont’s before surgery but no one tells you what you should be doing nutritionally to help your body which is one of the most important! Especially when it comes to supporting your gut health - and its not a case of “just take this probiotic”

The bone broth that I use and love is Freja Bone Broth

That first sip after surgery oh my god - I cannot tell you how good that tasted 🤣

Use KATJA10 at checkout for 10% off (affiliated but I only work with brands I love and use personally!)

And the best thing is that what invest into your health portfolio compounds over time

Every 8 hour sleep

Every 30 minute workout

Every home cooked whole food meal

Share this with someone who needs to start their own health portfolio 💚

Snippets of moments that have brought me joy the past month 🥹❤️

The cows are my new besties and I say “Good morning” to them most mornings 😂 the black Calf is Billy I’ve named him because whenever I see him he always comes over to say Hi and to have scratchy’s 🥹
