☺️ Taking a Little Time Away ☺️

Just a little update to let you all know that I’ll be taking a sabbatical and will be away from clinic from the beginning of August, returning in September.

Over the next week, I’ll be limiting appointments for new patients, as I want to make sure I have enough availability for any necessary follow-up care before I head away. If you’ve been thinking about booking in, I’d recommend getting in touch sooner rather than later.
I will still be available for emergency appointments where possible.

While I’m away, I will still be available via message for any queries or advice, although responses will be slower than usual as I take some time with family.

If you’re an existing patient and need an appointment before I go, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and understanding. I look forward to seeing you all again in September!♥️

5 signs your child may benefit from paediatric osteopathy 👶

1️⃣ Difficulty settling or sleeping
If your baby struggles to settle, wakes frequently, or seems uncomfortable when lying down, it may sometimes be related to tension or discomfort within their body.

2️⃣ Tummy discomfort
Symptoms like reflux, colic, constipation, or lots of wind can leave babies unsettled. Gentle osteopathic treatment may help support the body and digestive system.

3️⃣ Feeding difficulties
If your baby struggles with latching, comes on and off the breast or bottle, or seems uncomfortable during feeds, it may be helpful to assess how their body and neck are moving.

4️⃣ Head preference or flat spots
If your baby always looks to one side or you’ve noticed a developing flat spot on their head, osteopathy may help encourage more balanced movement.

5️⃣ Movement or posture concerns
If your child seems stiff, dislikes tummy time, or appears uncomfortable with rolling, sitting, or crawling, it can be helpful to have their movement assessed.

✨ Paediatric osteopathy is gentle, safe, and tailored to support your child’s comfort, development, and overall wellbeing.

👋 Hey, I’m Rin!

It’s a new year so let’s reintroduce myself properly again - especially to the new followers ☺️

I’m an osteopath who helps everyone—from bump → baby → busy adult—feel amazing in their body.

Here’s my jam:
🤰 Pregnancy & postnatal care – because your body deserves some TLC while growing (or chasing) tiny humans
🍼 Babies & pediatrics – reflux, colic, tummy time, and gentle stretches
💆‍♂️ Adults – tension, back/neck pain, and those pesky headaches
👐 Cranial osteopathy – gentle, hands-on care for your nervous system & overall wellbeing

A bit about me personally:
🌍 I’m Kenyan with Indian roots
🥾 I love traveling, hiking, and exploring new places
🏄‍♀️ Paddle boarding is my happy place
🍲 I’m a total foodie (yes, I’ll try anything once!)
💪 I hit the gym regularly to feel strong and keep my body in top shape

My goal? To make osteopathy practical, relatable, and yes…even fun!

💬 Drop a comment and say hi—I’d love to know what your body needs most right now.

Here’s to happy bodies, healthy families, and maybe a few less headaches 😉💛

As the year gently comes to a close, I’m pausing to appreciate the many stories, small wins and moments of progress that have passed through this space.

Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their care this year — from first appointments to follow-ups, from tiny changes to big improvements. It’s been a privilege to support so many bodies and families.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with ease, movement and good health! 🎄🥳🥰
