Held by Claire I offer a compassionate, grounded presence to support you through life’s sacred transitions, whether through ceremony, healing, or at the end of life.

My work is guided by intuition, deep listening, and a gentle respect for the sacred in each moment. Following a 30 year career in teaching, I set up my own business Pathfinder Holistic Healing in 2017 after qualifying in spiritual counselling, Soul Plan Reading and other healing therapies at the Holistic Healing College in London. Training as a Celebrant and then an End-of-Life Doula/Soul Midwife

with the UK Society of Celebrants felt like a natural progression and extension of my holistic business and I found many parallels between the two businesses that, for several years, I ran alongside each other. In 2025, after 2 years of very deep and insightful training with the One Spirit Interfaith Foundation, I was ordained as an Interfaith Minister and I brought my celebrant, spiritual accompaniment and healing services together under my new business name Held by Claire. I live in the beautiful village of Withnell, near Chorley, with my dog, Scooby. Alongside my ministry and spiritual practice, I enjoy walking, reading, singing, cricket and spending time with my son and grandson. Being an Interfaith Minister to me is acceptance of all faiths and those who don’t conform to any organised religion. It’s about seeing and celebrating the value and worth in everyone and the understanding that each of us has our own path to travel. It’s about creating a space, whether through my celebrant work, healing work or spiritual accompaniment, where everyone can feel safe, valued, respected and held, and where there is an opportunity for connection, healing and growth. I offer you my presence, my respect, my compassion and a safe space where you can freely express yourself and know you will be listened to deeply and without judgement. Services offered: Interfaith Celebrant, Soul Midwife (End of Life doula), Spiritual Accompaniment, Healing therapies & readings (Reiki, Soul Plan Reading, Soul Transformation Therapy, Qigong).

It always amazes me how accurate even a mini reading is 👌 and it was no surprise to find that those who had a reading had energies in common 💞
The most common one that everyone shared was the 7-7 energy which relates to drawing like-minded people together! 🤩🙏

Solitude is one of the most precious things in the human spirit. It is different from loneliness. When you are lonely, you become acutely conscious of your own separation. Solitude can be a homecoming to your own deepest belonging. One of the lovely things about us as individuals is the incommensurable in us. In each person, there is a point of absolute nonconnection with everything else and with everyone. This is fascinating and frightening. It means that we cannot continue to seek outside ourselves for things we need from within. The blessings for which we hunger are not to be found in other places or people. These gifts can only be given to you by yourself. They are at home at the hearth of your soul.
