Check out our new Healthy Travel Map! 🗺️

We have developed and launched a new Healthy Travel Map helping everyone to find sustainable ways to travel around Flintshire. This is just one action we are doing through the North Wales Healthy Travel Charter.

The map shows the location of Council Offices, Connect Centres, Schools, and Leisure and Library facilities in relation to travel routes and public transport stops.
You can also search for that specific location you want to travel to

More sustainable travel choices improve health by being active, spending more time in green spaces, and reducing vehicle pollution which in turn helps fight climate change.

Former news anchor Jon Snow has revealed he is living with Alzheimer’s disease, the most common form of dementia.

The reality of Jon’s life with the condition will feature in a new documentary 'Jon Snow: A Last Big Story', airing on Channel 4 on Saturday, 20 June at 8pm. Some of our volunteers recently attended a screening of the powerful documentary, and we hope you're able to watch too.

We've published the findings of our Improvement Check of Cyngor Sir y Fflint / Flintshire County Council's Adult Services.

The inspection found a committed workforce, strong safeguarding arrangements and some genuinely positive practice but also identified areas where further improvement is needed to make sure people consistently receive the support they need.
