🥁 Drum of the Week 🥁

This week's featured drum is a beautiful 22" cow hide drum, crafted with deep care, respect, and intention.

The hide on the face of the drum has been gently trimmed, allowing the voice of the drum to ring out clearly and freely. Around the sides, the natural hair has been left intact, preserving the character and spirit of the animal and creating a powerful connection to its life and journey.

Every decision made during the creation of our drums is thoughtful and purposeful. We believe that honouring the animal is an essential part of the drum-making process, treating each hide with gratitude and respect while creating an instrument that can continue to carry medicine, rhythm, and connection into the world.

This balance between sound and symbolism reflects the heart of our work: crafting drums that not only sound beautiful but also hold a story, a presence, and a deep sense of reverence.

For the person who feels called to this drum, it offers more than rhythm alone—it offers a connection to the natural world, to the spirit of the animal, and to the ancient heartbeat that lives within us all.

Ancestral Healing Retreat 🌿✨
A journey into trauma release, inner alignment, and ancestral connection.

We are supporting the incredible Philiswa Makhaye on this retreat, a week before our festival, as part of her UK tour.

This is a chance to go deeper within, to explore what we carry, and to gently create space for awareness, release, and renewal 🤍

Through breathwork, movement, sound, and ritual, reconnect with the wisdom of those who came before us in a beautifully intimate setting.

Releasing old patterns, softening what no longer serves, and returning to clarity, strength, and presence 🕊️
