Nobody told you the other half of the salt story.
Salt and potassium work together like a see-saw inside your body to keep your blood pressure balanced.
Potassium is found in the foods many of us grew up eating:
⚡yam
⚡sweet potatoes
⚡plantain
⚡ leafy greens
and anything deeply coloured on your plate.
As our diets have shifted toward more processed foods, that balance has quietly tipped, and most people have never been told why it matters.
