☆ SYNTH SLEEP - AN EVENING OF LIVE MODULAR SYNTH SOUNDSCAPES ☆

Join us Saturday 27th June, 6-7pm for an evening of live Modular Synth music. Lie down supported by bolsters, cushions and blankets and drift off to the dreamy ambient soundscapes of the synth 😍

The idea of these evenings is to create a similar experience to a soundbath but making it accessible to those people who aren't able to go to soundbaths due to contraindications. This is a space dedicated to rest without energy work.

Chelle will guide you through a bit of relaxation at the start but other than that it will be all about the synth and a gentle space just for you! If you would prefer to be seated to enjoy the music please let us know and we will set up a cosy chair 🤗

Introduction to Drop Spindle Spinning | Saturday 25th July | 10am-12pm | with Alexandra Greaves

Come and gather to learn the ancient craft of drop spindle spinning and turning fleece into yarn.

In this introductory workshop we will be preparing fleece, carding, looking at different types of fleece for spinning, making rolags, looking at fleece batts & roving and learning how to spin on a top whorl spindle.

There will be lots of examples of hand spun yarn to look at, handouts with helpful info, books and publications to peruse and a small selection of spindles and carded fleece to purchase if you want to keep spinning when you get home.

We are soooo excited about this workshop. Bookings are open now and close on July 1st.

Cost: £45.00 which includes all materials and light refreshments.

🌼🧚‍♀️SOUNDS OF THE SEASON SOUNDBATH | SUMMER SOLSTICE 🧚‍♀️🌼

Join us on Saturday 20th June, 4:00-5:15pm for our next soundbath with Chelle. This time we are honouring the Summer Solstice and the sacred pause as we reach the peak of the sun's journey. We will begin by connecting to themes and astrology supporting this turning of the wheel, and then you will be guided through a dreamy crystal bowl soundbath 🤗

Those of you coming to classes tonight get first look 👏 Shop will be open for a shorter time tomorrow 9:30-10:30am due to therapy room being so busy this week.

We will also be open lunchtime this weekend whilst we're on a break during teacher training 🤗

Join us for a new term of Gentle Yoga from Monday 1st June. There are two time slots available:

6:15-7:15pm & 7:30-8:30pm

For this 6 week term we are going to be exploring the chakras. Looking at a different chakra each week until week 6 where we will combine the brow and crown chakra. Each week there will be a dedicated playlist for that particular chakra and we will be exploring meditation, mantra and mudras to help better understand and connect with each energy centre.

These classes are a combination of yin and restorative yoga poses with myofascial release and gentle mobility work. We begin each class with guided relaxation, followed by breath work and then a slow and mindful movement sequence. We then finish with a lengthy savasana and seated mindfulness meditation to close.

These classes are taught by studio owner Chelle who has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching for over 10. She is a senior yoga teacher and teacher trainer, as well as a remedial & sports massage therapist and meditation and Reiki teacher. Michelle blends her passion for anatomy and biomechanics with her love for honouring the spiritual roots of yoga.

This is a 6 week term running from Monday 1st June until 13th July. Please note there is no class on Monday 15th June as Michelle is on holiday.

The term costs £50.00. Drop-ins are available for £9 if there are spaces available but need to be booked in advance.

ZEN AT 10 - A morning of Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra

Join Chelle this Saturday (9th May) 10:00am-12:00pm for 2 hours of blissful rest.

For the first part of this session we will explore deeply supported restorative yoga poses that will nourish the body, calm the nervous system and help to still the mind. For the second part, you will be guided through a deeply restful yoga Nidra practice.

All props are provided, just bring yourself and maybe your favourite blanket. Herbal teas served on arrival 🤗
