This one is for the lovely little Stella.

It was originally planned for Stella and her owner to come to the studio a few weeks ago. When they arrived the most unfortunate turn of events happened and she slipped her lead and went into oncoming traffic.

Heartbreakingly her injuries were too bad leading to her owner having to make the hardest but kindest decision to put her to rest.
I went along just before and we got her paw print.

Today we completed the art work on her owners leg where she always like to stand by his side.

This was her paw print and her last movements, her push against the paper. ❤️🐶

People told me following this dream was going to be hard, people would judge and criticise my work, I would make mistakes and have days where it all felt too much not just with the tattoos but also running my own small business, and they were absolutely right but I do it for days like today. Not every tattoo is just cute, or a cool design some speak our truths even the tough ones. I was honoured to meet the lovely Michelle today to carry out the design we made in remembrance for her Daughter Kibi.

I also met her lovely Partner Michelle where I got to freehand her design. Keeping the awareness close to heart ❤️
