A Little Thank You 💚

Well, the time has come for me to take a little break from S&J Wax Removal Cleethorpes.

I’m now taking some time away to have my surgery and, most importantly, to give myself time to properly recover afterwards.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to every single one of my customers, both old and new, for your continued support, recommendations, lovely reviews and for trusting me with your ear care. 🥰

It really does mean so much to me to have built such a lovely little business and to have met so many wonderful people along the way.

I’ll be taking the time I need to recover, and I’ll keep you all updated on how I’m doing and when I’m hoping to return.

🌟 A LITTLE UPDATE FROM S & J EAR WAX REMOVAL 🌟

Just a little reminder that I have a few appointments still available before I take some time off for surgery. 🥰

If your ears have been feeling blocked, muffled, itchy or uncomfortable, now could be a good time to get them checked before I’m away.

👂 Remember — ear wax isn’t dirty!
It’s there for a reason and helps protect your ears. But when wax builds up and becomes hard or impacted, it can cause problems such as:

🔸 Muffled hearing
🔸 A blocked or full feeling
🔸 Tinnitus or ringing
🔸 Itching
🔸 Discomfort

And remember… seeing a little wax doesn’t necessarily mean it needs removing! Sometimes the best treatment is simply reassurance that your ears are healthy. ❤️

💚 A Little Update from Me...

To all my lovely customers,

I wanted to let you know that in around 4 weeks' time, I'll be taking some time away from work to have surgery.

I'll be taking up to 6 weeks off to rest and recover, so if you've been thinking about booking an appointment for ear wax removal, I'd recommend getting in touch over the next few weeks before I finish.

Thank you for your continued support, patience and understanding. It really does mean a lot to me and to my small business.

👂 Ear Wax – It's There for a Reason!

Did you know that ear wax is completely natural and plays an important role in protecting your ears?

Ear wax helps to:
🟢 Trap dust, dirt and bacteria before they reach the eardrum.
🟢 Lubricate the ear canal, preventing it from becoming dry and itchy.
🟢 Help protect against infection.

The problem isn't the wax itself...

It's when wax becomes impacted (stuck) and hardens within the ear canal. This can lead to:

👂 ITCHY EARS… OR RINGING IN YOUR EARS? 🔔

Many people ask me whether itchy ears and tinnitus are related.

The answer is… sometimes.

Itchy ears can be caused by:
• Dry skin
• Eczema
• Irritation from hearing aids or earphones
• Ear wax build-up
• Mild infections

Tinnitus (ringing, buzzing or humming in the ears) has many possible causes, including:
• Hearing loss
• Noise exposure
• Certain medications
• Stress and fatigue
• Ear wax build-up

If ear wax is blocking the ear canal, it can sometimes make tinnitus seem more noticeable. Removing the wax may help improve symptoms, but it won’t cure tinnitus if there is another underlying cause.
