I talk about this with my clients all the time because it’s one of the biggest patterns I see in really successful women. They are incredible at achieving and almost allergic to celebrating. And it’s not because they’re humble, it’s because stopping to feel proud doesn’t feel safe, so they keep raising the bar instead.

What’s a win you completely skipped past recently?

Tell me below, I want to celebrate it with you! And trust me it’ll do something even more powerful to your subconscious

This one might sting a little, so the people-pleaser in me is very sorry, but this also will open your eyes to what might be draining you and holding you back...

High-achieving women are particularly good at turning patterns into strengths.

Over-preparing becomes “high standards.”

Never switching off becomes “drive.”

Doing everything yourself becomes “I just care more than everyone else.”

And sometimes those things *are* strengths.

Until they’re the very thing limiting how you lead.

The work is knowing the difference.

That’s exactly the territory we go into in Mastery. DM MASTERY if you want to know more.

I think we sometimes mistake detachment for confidence.

But some of the most self-assured women I know care deeply. They’re thoughtful. They’re emotionally intelligent. They listen.

They’ve just stopped treating every reaction as information they need to act on.

And that changes how you lead.

Because the more secure you become in your own judgement, the less energy you lose trying to manage everybody else’s perception of you.

Mastery starts in January and this is a huge part of the work: self-trust, authority, visibility and the internal capacity to hold all three.

DM me MASTERY and I’ll send you the details.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot recently because waiting can be such a convincing place to live. Especially when you have a full life and there are very real reasons why doing something six months from now might be easier than doing it today.

I don’t believe every decision needs to be rushed or that fear automatically means you should jump. Sometimes waiting is absolutely the right thing to do.

But I do think there’s a point where you know.

And then you have to be really honest about whether you’re waiting for better timing or waiting to feel completely comfortable about a decision that is probably never going to feel completely comfortable.

I see this with Mastery too. There will always be another January. You could absolutely wait until you have more time, more certainty or feel more ready. But if this is something you already know you want to move towards, there is also something incredibly powerful about deciding that this is the year you actually do it.

DM me MASTERY if you want to talk it through with me.

I find this so interesting because I spent years thinking the answer was to become more disciplined, and obviously shaming myself for not being a perfectionist did absolutely nothing to make me better at staying focused 😂

What has actually helped is understanding that I don’t need to become a different person. I need to notice the point at which my brain wants to take the familiar route and give it enough experiences of doing something differently that eventually there’s another route available.

It’s also changed the way I think about development completely. I’m much less interested in how much someone knows now and much more interested in what they’ve actually embodied, because we can understand ourselves to death and still repeat exactly the same patterns.

This is a huge part of the work inside Mastery. We go deep into the human behind the leadership, but also into how you actually facilitate this level of change for other people.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us in January, DM me MASTERY and I’ll send you everything.

Your next opportunity might not be sitting in your inbox.

Some of the most exciting opportunities in my life have come through following the things I love, meeting people I would never have met through “networking” and actually being a human outside of my business.

Particularly when you’re purpose-led, YOU are part of the work. Go have a big, interesting life. It gives people so much more to connect with.

The strangest thing about getting more successful is how quickly the things you once desperately wanted become normal.

And I don’t want the answer to be wanting less. I want the big goals, the money, the opportunities, the experiences... I just want to actually be there for them when they happen.

That part isn’t about another external goal. It’s about your inner world and building the capacity to actually hold everything you’re creating.

There’s a very fine line between being proactive and not trusting yourself.

I’m learning that leadership is as much about knowing when NOT to interfere as it is knowing when to move.

The constant tinkering can feel productive, but sometimes the thing that creates the biggest shift is having the self-trust to stay with what you’ve already decided.

Comment EDGE and I’ll send you something to uncover what you might not be looking at that could help you get where you want to go.
