I told myself it was my age.
It wasn’t.
I convinced myself that women in their 40s and 50s were supposed to gain weight.
That a thicker waistline was inevitable.
That constantly pulling tops away from my tummy was normal.
That standing in front of the wardrobe feeling frustrated was just part of getting older.
So I adapted, I bought bigger clothes.
I chose black because it looked more flattering, I looked for tops that covered my stomach and hips!
And little by little, I stopped dressing for the woman I wanted to be and started dressing for the body I was trying to hide.
The hardest part wasn’t the weight, the number on the scales, It was how it made me feel 😢
Older.
Less attractive.
Less confident.
Like I’d somehow lost the woman I used to be.
Maybe you know exactly what I mean.
Maybe you’ve got clothes hanging in your wardrobe that you haven’t worn in years because you don’t feel comfortable in them anymore.
Maybe you’ve started avoiding photos.
Avoiding nights out.
Avoiding being seen.
And maybe you’ve started telling yourself that this is simply what happens after 40.
But what if it isn’t?
What if you don’t need another restrictive diet, another detox, or another Monday morning restart?
What if you simply need the right approach?
Because here’s what I’ve learned...
Women over 40 can absolutely reduce bloating.
They can lose the stubborn inches around their waist.
They can build a stronger, firmer body.
They can feel confident in their clothes again.
Not by starving themselves.
Not by spending hours in the gym.
But by following a plan that actually fits around real life.
If you’re reading this thinking, “That’s exactly how I feel”...
Maybe it’s time to stop accepting a version of yourself that no longer feels like you.
Message me “CONFIDENCE” if you’re ready to feel like yourself again.
