I chose to have the blue tick because trust matters to me.

When you’re sharing your life, your children’s experiences, your struggles and the support you offer to other families, I want people to know that this is genuinely me.

It gives me an extra layer of account protection, helps protect against impersonation, and gives me access to support if something goes wrong with my account.

But more importantly, as my little business grows, I want people who find Next Steps Neuro Support to feel confident that they’re in the right place. 🩵

💛 GET TO KNOW ME — THE FACE BEHIND NEXT STEPS NEURO SUPPORT 💛

Hi, I’m Cherise 👋🏼
The person behind Next Steps Neuro Support.

If you’re new here, I thought it was time you got to know the person behind the page a little better…

✨ I’m a mum of three amazing children.

✨ I started Next Steps Neuro Support because I know how overwhelming it can feel trying to navigate the world of additional needs.

✨ I’ve spent years learning, researching, attending meetings, completing forms and advocating for my own children — and I wanted to use that experience to support other families.

✨ I’m passionate about making parents feel heard, understood and less alone.

✨ I love helping parents with things like DLA forms, Blue Badge applications, school meetings, SEN support, referrals and gathering evidence.

✨ I believe parents know their children best — even when professionals sometimes make us question ourselves.

✨ I’m a big believer that asking for help isn’t a weakness. Sometimes you just need someone beside you who understands.

✨ I’m also a huge advocate for children who mask, particularly autistic girls, because their struggles can be so easily missed.

✨ I don’t believe there is a “one size fits all” approach to neurodiversity. Every child and every family is different.

✨ And finally… behind the business, I’m just a mum trying to navigate life, advocate for my children and help other parents along the way. ❤️

I created Next Steps Neuro Support because you shouldn’t have to figure everything out alone.
