Little skin tag on the neck frozen off in my home clinic this morning. 10-20 seconds and job done.

(Obviously after a thorough discussion about medical history and review with a skin microscope 🙃)

Excited to team up with to offer more in-depth mole checks that are reviewed by a Consultant Dermatologist.

Costs £80 and you get a detailed report back from a specialist within 24-48 hours.

Of course, most things I see in clinic currently don’t require this because I’m confident in recognising most benign skin lesions, as a GP. But sometimes people ask me to freeze ‘moles’ and these are always worth checking first.

Service should be up and running by next week 🙌

☀️🕶️ You can never have too much SPF (my kids might disagree!) but genuinely see sooooo many skin cancers in middle-older age patients because they didn’t wear SPF when they were younger and the sun damage accumulates year on year. I do see some younger patients too - melanoma in 30’s isn’t unheard of.

90% skin cancers are directly related to sun exposure. So, if you can put some cream on to stop yourself getting cancer - you might as well!

I’m sure if people could get creams to prevent breast and bowel cancer they’d be applying it frantically?

Finally after months of faffing with various providers, public liability and medical indemnity insurances in place to cover me working from home 🙌

I’ll still be working at The Porch and Park Lane but nice to have the option for follow-ups from home 🙂
