3 months ago, I was driving home from work and decided that this would be the year I finally made a name for myself and created an event I could truly call my own.
So I messaged a DJ, booked a meeting with Ryan at Ellescoventry, and threw myself straight into the deep end.
Fast forward to today, and I’m sat outside work laughing to myself because honestly… I still have no idea how tomorrow is going to go! But one thing I’ve learnt throughout this whole journey is to trust my passion and always follow my heart.
I’ve probably driven my friends and family mad over the last few months with comments like, “What if nobody turns up?” or “I’m just not that guy.” But very quickly, I realised I’ve got an incredible support network around me, people who believe in my vision and have helped me every step of the way.
I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s bought a ticket for tomorrow, and also to everyone who’s simply coming down to show support. It genuinely means a lot.
So this is a little pat on the back for myself, but also a reminder to anyone reading this trust yourself, take the risk, and push yourself to go after what you want.
