Tictac tattoo and piercings

This piece started as a study using photo references, but gradually evolved into something of its own. I wanted to challenge myself with texture, symmetry, and detail while combining elements that felt powerful and mythical. The result became a dragon-like skull forged into a blade, surrounded by flames that give it a sense of movement and intensity.

Using references has been one of the most valuable parts of improving my art. They help me understand form, structure, and detail, but the goal is always to take those observations and create something new. Every scale, shadow, and stippled texture in this drawing was an opportunity to learn and push my skills a little further.

Always learning, always creating, and always grateful for the process. 🐉⚔️🔥

These two pieces mark a huge milestone in my journey as an artist — my second and third tattoos ever done on real skin. Every line and detail taught me something new, and I’m proud to see the progress already taking shape this early on. Stepping from practice skin to working on real people has been both exciting and humbling, and these tattoos represent the beginning of building my style, confidence, and experience one piece at a time.🍋🪴
