Why muscle strengthening is important

Muscle-strengthening activities are brilliant for slimmers as muscle helps our bodies burn calories 💪.

And it’s particularly helpful for weight maintenance in our 50s and beyond, when we naturally begin to lose muscle mass. As well as using weights, carrying heavy bags 🛍️, yoga 🧘🏽‍♀️ and even heavy gardening 🌻 counts.

Muscle strengthening is one of five active habits that could transform your health, and you’ll learn more about all of them at my Cromer group.

🎉 WOW! What an incredible month May was at Cromer Slimming World! 🎉

Together, our amazing members have lost a staggering 243 pounds – that's over 17 stone gone forever! 🤩👏

I was absolutely delighted to hand out 19 weight loss and activity awards, celebrating achievements ranging from ½ stone all the way up to an incredible 5½ stone loss. Every certificate represents dedication, commitment and a determination to create healthier habits for life. ❤️

We also had the honour of celebrating our fantastic Man of the Year 🏆, recognising his inspiring journey and the motivation he brings to our group.

Seeing members support one another, share successes and achieve goals week after week is exactly what makes our Cromer group so special.
