We couldn’t be prouder to see the incredible Gracie Kinnear recognised with a Certificate of Merit at the Child of Wales Awards 2026. 💪
Following life-threatening injuries sustained in a serious car accident, Gracie faced an incredibly tough road to recovery.
Fast forward a couple of years and, at just seven years old, she is not only back on her feet but has helped raise an amazing £65,000 for Wales Air Ambulance — the service that helped save her life. That’s enough to fund 18 combined air and road missions. ❤️
It has been an absolute privilege for the Equinox team to be part of Gracie’s rehabilitation journey, and to see just how far she has come.

This is Gracie Kinnear, a little girl who sustained life-threatening injuries in a car crash. She suffered terrible injuries including broken ribs, a broken pelvis, lacerations to her liver, a shattered kidney, and a collapsed lung.
She was placed into an induced coma as doctors and nurses battled to save her life, and for almost a week it was touch and go.
Fast forward a couple of years and seven-year-old Gracie isn't just back on her feet - she's helped raise more than £65,000 - enough to fund 18 combined air and road missions - for the Wales Air Ambulance who saved her life.
Now the remarkable youngster has been awarded a certificate of merit from the Child of Wales Awards 2026, collecting her award during a visit to the Wales Air Ambulance base in Dafen near Llanelli.
