Misled… in denial.. or simply unsure.. I was all three! 🤦🏻‍♀️
Anxiety that comes from nowhere. Can’t get to sleep or waking at 3am with a racing mind. Mood swings that make you feel like a teenager again. A short fuse you don’t recognise in yourself. Sound familiar?

So many women are experiencing these symptoms without realising that perimenopause could already be underway. And with older generations often reassuring us that “you’re far too young for that yet” — it’s no wonder so many of us don’t join the dots.

But here’s the truth: perimenopause can begin as early as your late 30s! 🌸

It isn’t just hot flushes and irregular periods. The hormonal shifts of perimenopause can affect your mood, your sleep, your weight, your joints, your concentration and your confidence — often years before your cycle changes at all.

In the UK the average age of menopause is 51 — but perimenopause, the transitional phase leading up to it, can begin up to ten years earlier. If you’re in your early to mid 40s, this could already be your story.

For many women HRT is the only solution they’ve been offered — and there is still some uncertainty around it too. The good news is that a lot has changed, and while HRT can be brilliant for some women it simply doesn’t suit everyone. There are so many powerful tools available — yoga, breathwork, nutrition, herbs, supplements and lifestyle changes — that can be used alongside or instead of HRT.

Menopause isn’t one size fits all — it’s about gaining the knowledge and understanding to find out what truly works for you. This workshop is about adding to your toolkit, whatever that looks like for you. 🌿

Today we sit at a powerful intersection of light.

As the Full Flower Moon illuminates the sky, we also celebrate Beltane—the midpoint between the spring equinox and the summer solstice.✨

Just as the earth is in full bloom, this is a moment to look at your own "garden."🪴

• Reflect: What have you nurtured since the winter that is finally blossoming? 🌹

• Release: What no longer serves the vibrant energy you want to carry into summer? 🌊

• Sow: What new intentions are you ready to plant as the days grow longer?🌱

Nature is reminding us that there is a time for everything: a time to sprout, a time to bloom, and a time to simply bask in the sun.

This is the Baby and Toddler Group I mentioned in Mum and Baby Yoga class. 😊 It runs Tuesdays and Thursdays 9.30 to 1.30pm. Honiton Community Spaces - CUB building (opposite the sports centre). Only £2! It’s a lovely way to meet new family’s and ideal for our yoga babies that have become more mobile and graduated from the yoga mat! 💖🧘🏻‍♀️
