Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at The 180 Project.
From mentoring men in prison, supporting sessions in the community, sharing lived experience, offering encouragement when it’s needed most, or simply being a consistent and trusted presence, our volunteers help create the relationships that make change possible.
This , we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every person who gives their time, energy and compassion to support our work.
Many of the people who volunteer with us have walked their own difficult paths. They know what it feels like to struggle, to start again, and to need someone who believes in you. Their willingness to use those experiences to help others is one of the most powerful things we witness.
At The 180 Project, we often talk about the importance of community. Our volunteers are a huge part of that community. They help create environments where people feel safe, valued, challenged and supported to become the best version of themselves.
Over the last year, our volunteers have supported men in prison, welcomed prison leavers into the community, mentored young people, helped deliver sessions, organised events and played an essential role in helping people build healthier, more hopeful futures.
To every volunteer past and present: thank you. Your contribution matters more than you probably realise.
Together, we’re not just changing lives, we’re helping people believe that change is possible.
Today we had the opportunity to celebrate and thank you all!!
