NOTICE FOR PATIENTS -
While the weather is hot we are limited to one delivery per day as our wholesalers are prioritising their staff's wellbeing. Please be mindful that while the pharmacy is still open, it may take slightly longer to do your prescriptions because of this. Our staff are working incredibly hard during this heatwave to get your prescriptions done within 24hrs of receiving them.

Do you have a sore throat that won't go away? You may be suffering from tonsilitis which requires antibiotics to treat. Rather than long waiting times for a GP appointment, visit your local pharmacy to get checked out by the pharmacist for quick & effective treatment via the pharmacy first scheme. 👩‍⚕️

The Minor Ailments scheme works by allowing patients the option to visit their local pharmacy for OTC advice and treatment for certain minor illnesses, rather than having to make an appointment to see their GP.

Any medicines dispensed will be free of charge to patients who do NOT normally pay prescription charges (are exempt).

Please note that you can use this service up to 6 times in 1 year and it resets every April.

We have had a lot of confusion over the last few weeks about changes to ordering repeat medication as from the 1st of April patients are strongly advised to order through the NHS app or with their surgery directly. At the moment we are only able to order for tray (care home) and housebound patients unless stated otherwise by each specific surgery. To order your medication you can either download the NHS app by mobile or, depending on your surgery order with them via phone / surgery app or by dropping a repeat slip in. We understand that this may be frustrating however these changes are to encourage non-vulnerable patients to use the app so that they can track & manage their medication more easily and to also lessen the pressure on pharmacies. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS -
We are currently having renovations done in the shop floor area which is why the shutter is down on this side of the building. We are still open for business as usual with normal hours just please use the other entrance (clinic side) to collect prescriptions. If you wish to purchase something from the shop please just ask a member of staff and they will grab this for you.
