Uncertainty is where possibility lives.

That’s a hard thing for humans to embrace as our tendency is to seek certainty in life. We want to know what lies ahead, to feel safe in our decisions. How often do you ask yourself, “have I made the right decision?” And there’s the struggle; we can’t be certain of the future in an uncertain and dynamic world.

Horses are great teachers for us in this respect because they don’t seek certainty, they face uncertainty together and navigate their way through it. They don’t look ahead to the end result; they just work out their next step.

There’s so much wisdom in that for people; we tend to want to know that the outcome is assured but we can’t know for certain and that leads to worry and anxiety. But when you just take a next step it’s easier to navigate uncertainty…taking it one step at a time. Staying in the now and feeling your way in an embodied sense. The next step will feel right, that’s your internal guidance system.

There’s no better place to practice being in the moment and embodied than in the presence of horses.

You’ll be fully supported in a small group of like-minded women and held in a safe space where deep personal transformation can happen.

And at the heart of this retreat are the horses.
There’s no riding, or any expectations. Just powerful, authentic connection.

Horses don’t respond to who you think you should be…they respond to who you really are.
And it’s in that non-judgemental space, that allows things to shift inside.

You’ll feel more grounded, calm, and emotionally lighter

PERSPECTIVE can change everything. Sometimes, all it takes is a step back to see things in a completely new light.

One of the Artemis II astronauts, speaking from space today, shared a powerful reflection: looking back at Earth, “We’re all one people.”

It’s a simple but profound reminder of how small our differences can seem when viewed from a distance.

THE POWER OF THE PAUSE

Out walking this morning, I suddenly came upon a herd of ponies as I came over a rise in the hill. I had been looking down at my feet as I came over the brow, and when I looked up, there they were.
Right in front of me on the path. They surprised me, I surprised them. One of them was looking directly at me, deciding what action to take.

I know how quickly a mix of ponies and a dog can escalate, and so I paused.

In that pause of doing nothing, my body softened, I lowered my gaze, and the ponies responded. They softened too. The one staring at me, looked away, and then yawned. We had all recalibrated in the pause. The person and the dog were not a threat to the ponies, the ponies were not a threat to the person and the dog.

The pause was important. And so it is in life, when faced with uncertainty, an unexpected curve ball. The power is in the pause. By taking a moment to do nothing, the next step becomes clear.
