A massive THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the Dunblane Fling such a brilliant day yesterday! ❤️

Whether you stopped by and bought something, came along for the atmosphere, had a chat, or simply supported the event by being there, thank you.

A huge shout-out to the organisers and volunteers who put so much work into making the day happen, and to all the fellow traders who always make these events such good fun.

Special thanks to my parental units for making the trip down from Aberdeen, to family members and friends who popped by to say hello, to my partner in crime Gillian for lending a hand when needed, and to my husband for his expert logistics, heavy lifting and stall-rigging skills (every successful market trader needs one!).

Days like these remind me how lucky I am to be part of such a supportive community. Thank you all for making it such a lovely day! 😊

Soap prep is in full swing for tomorrow’s Dunblane Fling! 🧼 🎶

The table is packed with soaps ready for labelling. ’ll be trading from 12–5 with lots of handmade soaps and goodies ready to go.

Everyone loves a mojito 🍹

Grapefruit and orange mojito soap 🧼

Fresh, zesty and just a wee bit punchy — like that first sip on a sunny day.

Ready in 4 weeks. 📅

Sweet Orange & Rose Geranium 🧼

It’s one of those scents that just feels instantly uplifting and a bit comforting at the same time.

You get that bright, juicy burst of sweet orange first — fresh, zesty, and slightly sweet, like peeling an orange on a sunny morning.

Then the rose geranium comes through and softens everything, adding a gentle floral note that’s more “fresh garden” than powdery perfume.

Together, it’s a really balanced blend — clean, slightly sweet, and lightly floral without being overpowering.

Kind of like a little mood boost in soap form. 🍊🌸

What a day. ❤️

Our little Christmas Market in the village hall was absolutely buzzing, and I’m feeling so grateful tonight.

First up, the biggest thank you to Pam from The Little Steel Bakery — my co-host, partner-in-chaos and festive wing-woman. Couldn’t have done this without her. 🥰

Thank you to every single trader who came along with their gorgeous makes and such good Christmas cheer. And to our lovely shoppers — you made the hall feel alive. 🎄

Huge thanks to my neighbours for holding down the soup and refreshments like pros and to Pam’s family for making the hall look so beautiful with their decorations. And of course… my husband: logistics manager, soap packer, sandwich bringer, general hero. ❤️

Feeling very tired, very festive, and very grateful.

🎄✨ Behind the scenes - our Christmas Market✨🎄

My friend Pam, , and I are organising a Christmas Market in my village hall.

We’ve been decorating, unpacking, hanging lights, and adding ALL the festive sparkle… and it’s nearly ready!

Expect beautiful handmade gifts, hot food, home baking, gorgeous displays, and a full-on Christmas vibe with brilliant festive music. 🎅🎁

We can’t wait to welcome you this Saturday, 6th Dec, 11–3:30pm at Ashfield Village Hall.
Walk down if it’s nice — and if the weather’s wild, just hop in the car and come anyway!
