A day in the life of a laser technician. Some footage of me working away with a few clients last week at my Dundee studio.

4th session will be carried out in 6 weeks time, then we're going to give this a much bigger break.

Bigger breaks are necessary at certain stages after laser treatment. It lets your body get rid of much of the broken down ink on its own. It gives a great opportunity to let the skin heal and recover....and it gives the client a nice little break from me and my 🔫 😝

Ooooft, so if ever there was a stickler of a tattoo, this one would take a top spot! A heavy handed tattoo artist had left this with some over saturated ink and some heavy scar tissue. Weirdly, the heavy hand has only been used on some parts of the tattoo. You can see in the "after" photo, that we still have some very dark areas (heavy handed parts) and we have some super light areas (lighter handed parts).

We're now at the stage where the only bits we're actually lasering, is the dark spots while the body gets rid of the rest on its own. A cover-up will likely be on the cards once we get some more of the dark spots lightened.

Workplace discrimination?

This young lad came to me because of future job requirements and the need to "adapt" one of his tattoo's. So, to save my client on time and money, we just concentrated on lasering the 🔫 and the face of this soldier.

After a few laser sessions, has now worked their magic and turned this soldier into an old school scuba diver with an 🐙 te****le covering what was left of the 🔫

Its a pity that in this day and age, tattoo's can still go against you for future employment, but in this lads case, his potential career was far more important to him! 😎

3rd session carried out at the weekend at my Dundee studio. We'll likely give this a few months to heal now before getting a 4th session in.

WOW!!! 4 sessions on this inner bicep tattoo. 5th session carried out today at my Dundee studio.

In this session, we went over parts of the writing that are only just visible in certain lights, then we adjusted the settings of my machine slightly to chip away at the stubborn parts on the ribbon.

This will eventually be fully covered but with fine line work, so we need this away as much as possible.

Next session will be in around 6 months time and we will concentrate on the ribbon only.

Love seeing fantastic results like this......but remember, not everyone is this lucky when it comes to laser removal. 😎

The difference that ONE session "can" make! Unbelievable result on this "Chucky" tattoo. Only 7 weeks after the first session and this is what it's showing 👌
2nd session carried out today at my Dundee studio.
This tattoo covers up an old pair of butterflies 🦋 🦋 so we will not doubt see these starting to shine through soon and then we'll get them away too!💪
