Happy International Women's Day!

As a male fitness coach, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible women in my life who inspire me with their strength and determination.

I'm so fortunate that 40% of my clients are women, each one of them showing me what's possible with hard work and dedication towards their fitness goals.

This client came to me with the goal of improving his health and lifestyle.

He's just gone on holiday and told me he looks and feels the best he's felt in a long time.

He lost 13kg during his fat loss phase which was enough for him to enjoy his holiday.

As we transition into a muscle building phase there's a lot to be excited about.

Increasing his calories and reducing his cardio will improve his strength and muscle mass ahead of next summer.

The last few months have been crazy.

When I look back on my time in a corporate job I realise I was really unhappy.

Leaving that job behind to start take my business full time was a big decision to make and I put it off for so long because of self doubt.

Making the decision to pursue my passion to help people achieve their full potential was the best decision I've ever made.

It's the anxiety and self doubt that held me back. My experience have reinforced my belief that you should step outside your comfort zone, put in the wrok so you can make your life what you want it to be.

Are you enjoying your fitness journey? ๐Ÿค”

Social media can affect how we feel about our body and influence our exercise and dietary choices.

There have been times where I have gotten off social media feeling worse about my body and felt lost about what to do.

Following a programme I enjoy has helped me stay motivated for longer periods of time so I can improve and get the results I want.

Focus less on how you look and more on other small goals like hitting your daily steps or drinking 3 litres of water a day.

These goals are easy to work towards and can be achieved and celebrated frequently ๐Ÿฅณ

Exercise should be enjoyable and challenging, what works for others might not work for you but once you find your enjoyment everything becomes easy.

Try these things to make your fitness journey more enjoyable:

1๏ธโƒฃ Chose a type of exercise that your enjoy
2๏ธโƒฃ Respect that the results take time
3๏ธโƒฃ Surround yourself with people that support you

When this client came to me about coaching in March she wanted to burn more fat and get more toned for summer.

She already had an active lifestyle but needed some more guidance on how to train and eat to achieve her goal.

We put together a programme with the style of training and exercises she enjoyed and made sure her favourite foods were were not completely cut out. ๐Ÿ˜€

Your Daily Habits Will Make Or Break Your Transformation โšก

It's great to have big goals but the way to achieve these goals is to start small building good habits.

Small habits require minimal effort everyday and when done consistently will help you reach your bigger fitness goal.ย ย 

Here are some habits that could spark your transformation.

1๏ธโƒฃ Walk after each meal
2๏ธโƒฃ Exercise 3 times a week
3๏ธโƒฃ 1 handful of protein with every meal
4๏ธโƒฃ Drink X litres of water a day
5๏ธโƒฃ Have 5 veg or fruit a day
